BROMLEY, DAISY JOHANNA

It is with great sadness that we , the family of Daisy Bromley announce her passing at Charles S Curtis Memorial Hospital, on Nov. 14, 2021 at the age of 51 years, surrounded by family and friends. Daisy was born in St. Anthony on April 27, 1970. She was the 2nd of 5 children born to Irene and Edward Bromley. Daisy was known as a kind hearted and generous woman with a beautiful soul. She had a smile for everyone. She especially enjoyed spending time with her closest friends. Daisy was never one to turn down a good time, whether it was a trip to the cabin, out in boat, on ski-doo or just sitting around the table singing and laughing with her friends and family. Daisy’s work took her all over the world and allowed her to see many places. She loved to travel. In the last two years she had travelled to many places in NL with family or friends. Daisy leaves to mourn, her parents, Irene and Edward Bromley. Brothers, Dale (Shirley),  Desmond (Trina), Jason (Mona), sister, Dreena and her beloved cat, Zoey. As well as her nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends for visitation at Kerry Fillitre Funeral Home, Nov. 16, 2021 from 2-4 pm. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at 10am at RC church, in Goose Cove with Father George officiating. Daisy had requested a donation to a charity of ones choosing, in lieu of flowers. Please adhere to COVID regulations, Vaxpass is required upon entry. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kerry M Fillitre Funeral home, St. Anthony, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

GIBBONS, DAISY BERNICE

Passed away on July 8th, 2017 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital at the age of 57 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Samuel Taylor; Son Corey Gibbons; Grandchildren Marty, Natalie; Brothers Roland (Peggy), Ivan (Jonie), Kirby (Edith); Sisters Donna (Wilfred) Parrill, Susan (Derek) Applin, Kathy (Boris) Hughes; In-Laws Jenita (Edward) Taylor, Jacob (Mary) Taylor; Nephews Christopher, Cody, Casey, Chace, Cade, Drew, Brayden; Nieces Courtney, Terri, Renita, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Thea; Special Friend Glenda Genge as well as a circle of other friends and family. She was predeceased by her parents Roland and Sybel Gibbons; Niece Renita Taylor; and Nephew Kirby Williams Gibbons. Visitation took place from the Anglican Church in Black Duck Cove from where the funeral took place on July 11th 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Claire officiating. Interment followed in the St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
