TUCKER, BRIDGET

April 28, 1950 - May 31, 2024

Passed away on May 31, 2024 at the Curtis S. Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 74 years, Bridget Tucker.

She will always be loved and remembered by her Sister: Vina (Don) Acreman; Brother: George, Angus (Annette); Niece: Geraldine (Blake) Wells; Brother-in-law: Ignatius Lawless; Special Friends: Marilyn (Weston) Whalen, their families, and other extended family and friends.

Bridget is predeceased by her Parents: Philip and Minnie; Sister: Sheila; Sister-in-law: Dulcie.

The funeral service will take place from the St. Barnabas Anglican Church in Flowers Cove on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Canon Vernon Short officiating. Inurnment to follow at the Savage Cove Anglican Cemetery.

RANDELL, BRIDGET (née Talbot)

Passed away on March 22, 2018 from the White Bay Central Health Centre in Roddickton at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Husband Wilbourne Randell; Children Jackie McAdams, Judy Randell, Tracey Randell, Francis Randell; Grandchildren Brittany Randell, Alexandra Casey, Andrew McAdams, Cameron Randell, Maddison Randell, Abby McAdams; Great-grandchildren Kayden Randell, Leo Casey as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Stella and Steven Talbot, and brothers Jimmy Talbot and Eugene Talbot. Visitation was held from the Roman Catholic Church in Englee from where the funeral was held on Monday, March 26th, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Fr. George officiating. Interment followed. PITTMAN, BRIDGET

Passed away peacefully at St. Claire’s Mercy Hospital in St. Johns on October 19, 2016 at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn her children: Michael John (Madelyn), Theresa (Bud), William James (Jane), Mary (John Joe), Primus (Christine), Ronald (Gloria), Shelia (Hughie), Melvin (Mary), Maurice (Wanda), Eileen (Matthias), Christine (Royal), Lorraine (Lawrence); Brother Edmund (Irene); In-Laws Geraldine (Late William Lawless “Bill”). Marie Pittman (Late Joseph Pittman), Bertha Pittman (Late Michael John Pittman), Irene Pittman, Primus Pittman, Melina Gould (Late Pius Gould), Maxwell Gould (Late Theresa Gould) as well as a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends. She was predeceased by her parents Maurice Lawless (Benji) and Amelia Elizabeth Hynes as well as the families of her brothers and sisters-in-law. Visitation was held at the Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church in Bird Cove from where the funeral service was held on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11 am with Fr. Ted Slaman officiating. BARTLETT, BRIDGET (KEARNEY)

Passed peacefully away at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on September 30th, 2016. Bride was born in Croque; the youngest child of Francis and Catherine Kearney. In September 1951 she married Leo Bartlett of Fortune Arm and together they had twelve children, nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren. Bride spent most of her life as a devoted wife and mother. In 1972 the relocated to Griquet. Over the years Bride was a second mom to her children’s friends where her door was always open. She was employed at Fisher’s Products and Work until she retired. In 1991 she joined the St. Lunaire-Griquet Firettes and continued to support until 2015. Following her retirement she was instrumental in the opening of St. Monica’s Catholic Church and Cemetery in St. Lunaire-Griquet. In 2013 Bride moved into Shirley’s Haven in St. Anthony where she continued to be an active member of her new community. She was predeceased by her Husband Leo; Children Catherine, Ray, Kate, and Ben. Visitation was held at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in St. Lunaire-Griquet from where the funeral service was held on October 4. 2016 with Father Vitus Echedo Chidi officiating. Interment followed.
