Passed away July 24th, 2018 at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn her Husband, George Pittman, and Sisters Eliza Genge, Dulcie Humber (and families) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her parents George and Kitty Chambers, her brother Stedman Chambers, and her sister Jane. Visitation was held from the Anglican Church of the Advent in Plum Point from where her funeral was held on July 28th 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating and Rev. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lenora (Annie) Gillingham announce her passing on Thursday, March 2nd 2017 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL., she is 81 years old. Annie leaves to mourn her son Michael Gillingham(Caroline), Granddaughter Cicely Ann Gillingham and Katherine(Chris)Gill, Great Grandchildren Matthew (Kennedy) and Monique Gillingham, Great Great Grandchild Willow all of Labrador City, NL, Her sister Marie Anderson(Willie); Irishtown,NL; special Nephew Reg Locke(Pauline Gilley) Corner Brook, NL; special friends Bob and Maryann Dredge, Blue Cove, NL; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, friends and the families of Reginald Rumbolt and John Pittman. Annie was predeceased by her Baby Son James, Parents Chelsey and Mary Jane Locke, Brothers Jim(Blanche) and Willis(Rebecca)and very special friends in life Reginald Rumbolt and John Pittman. Visitation was held at The church of Advent in Plum Point from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 8th day of March 2017 with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating. Passed away peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 8th of October 2015, Mr. John Richard Pittman of Blue Cove, in his 86th year. left to mourn his passing are his special friend Annie, Mary Ann Dredge (Bob and Family), Mary Jane Taylor (Sister), Maude (James) Chambers (Sister), George (Ruth) Pittman (Brother), Elizabeth Myrtle (John ) Crane (Sister), Gladys Gibbons (Sister in law), as well as a large circle of family and friends. John was predeceased by his wife Mary Ann, his father John Pittman, Mother Mary Margaret Pittman, sister Deborah (Oliver) Toope and his brother in law Gordon Taylor. The funeral service was held at the Church of the Advent in Plum Point at 2:00pm with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating. Burial followed at the Anglican Cemetery on Darby's Island. FLYNN, CLIFFORD
He was born March 28, 1935 in Forteau Labrador. He married Sophia Una Chambers on October 20, 1957. Together they raised their two daughters in Blue Cove. He worked as the lighthouse keeper on Belle Island for Thirty-five years.He passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 3rd day of September 2015, Mr. Clifford Flynn of Blue Cove was in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of Fifty-Seven years Sophia Una (Chambers) Flynn, his children Daisy(Vaughan), Samantha(Lyndon), Grandchildren Avery Cunard, Joshua Cunard, Brothers Clarance (Harrett), William(Lousia), Eric(Clara), Sisters Una(Lloyde), Phyllis(Kenneth), Sister-in-Laws Mary and Sue as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his Father Edward Flynn, Mother Pearl Flynn, and his Brothers Robert and Almond. Visitation was held at the Church of Advent in Plum Point from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Monday September 7, 2015 with Rev. Harold Harvey officiating.
