Passed peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 5th day of November 2014. Mr. Bartholomew Reid of Englee was in his 81st year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of Fifty-nine years Velma, Daughters Patricia Reid(Dorman), Rowena Reid(Nigel), and Dora Reid, Sons Guy9Rowena), Eric(Sharron), Raymond (Loretta), Alyvone(Mary), Willis, and Don(Wanda), Grandchildren Fabian, Kyle, Janeen, Lorna, Sandi, Sarah, RaymondJr., Kayla(deceased), Brendon, Wallace, Jonathan, Travis, and Samantha, Great grandchildren Gracie, Gage, Kynlee, Jada, Kylee, Alexis, Special Niece Peggy Fillier, Sisters Irene Canning, Annie Fillier, and Rosie Fillier, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation was held at the Pentecostal church in Englee from which the funeral service was held on November 9th, 2014 at 2:00pm with Pastor Sansome officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director.
