Passed away at her Home On October 7th, 2023, Barbara Ann Richards of St. Anthony NL in her 67th year.

Barbara leaves to mourn her Husband: Hubert; Sons: Colin (Petrina) and Cory (Lillian); Daughter Terri-Lee; Grandchildren: Niko, Anika, Dylan, Carly, Julie; Great-grandson: Kallum; Mother: Marion; Sisters: Janice(Alex), Lucinda(Elijah), Edith (Dexter); Brothers: Lester (Violet), Wade (Marie); Brothers-in-law: Willis (Shirley), Harrison (Judy), Lester (Viona), David (Jackie), Ben Denney, Faye Richards; Sisters-in-law: Florence (Freeman), Alma (Wayne), Nellie (Richard), and Janet.

Barbara was Predeceased by : Father: Pleaman; Brothers: Truman and Arthur; In-laws: John and Elizabeth Richards; Sisters-in-law: Evelyn Denney, Nina Hill; Brother-in-law: Headley Richards.

Visitation to take place from Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A family service will be held from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in St. Anthony at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The funeral service will take place from St. Mary’s on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Arthur Kinsella officiating. with interment to follow at the St. Mary’s Anglican Community Cemetery.

GREENE, BARBARA

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara Greene announce her passing on October 23, 2022 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL at the age of 70 years. She was surrounded by her loving husband, son, and family members.

Barb was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, Daughter, Sister, and Aunt. She was a very caring person. Not only did she care deeply for her family but she also deeply cared for others and would treat them like her own. She was always eager to organize and prepare for family gatherings (shed parties). She always looked forward to having everyone together.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 49 years, Freeman Greene; Son, Greg (Lyndelle); Granddaughter Katee; Mom, Dorcas Richards; Siblings, Rex (Joan), Ruth, Patricia (Charlie), Lester (Viva); Brother and Sister In-laws, Cindy Richards, Melina Dawe, Belinda Andris, Joe Greene (Evelyn), Mazie (Richard) Trumper; George (Kizzia), Irene Greene as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Barb is predeceased by her Father, James Richards; Brother, Kevin Richards; Parents-in-law, Barton and Miriam Greene; Sister-in-law, Ida Patey (Stewart); Brother-in-laws, Stanley Dawe, John Andris, and Gerald Martin.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring doctors and nurses of the Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barb’s memory may be made to the Grenfell Foundation, South Chapter.

June 10, 1974 – June 28, 2020

born June 10, 1974, passed away peacefully with her Mom and Dad by her side after a long struggle of different health issues at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on June 29, 2020 at the age of 46. Cammy loved everyone, especially her Mom and Dad, 2 Sisters Joanne and Jaylynn, and Madi, Kate, Luke, Nate, and Shea. She was very outgoing, loved to party and enjoyed her darts. She will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her parents, Philomena and Abe; Sisters, Joanne (Floyd), Jaylynn (Brandon); Nieces, Madi and Kate; Nephews, Luke, Nate, and Shea; Aunt Ivy, Uncle Wade and Family; Aunt Cornelia, Uncle Jim and Family; Uncle George, Aunt Barb and Family; Cynthia, Gord, and Family; Bill, Evelyn and Family; very special friend Zita Rumbolt and a large circle of extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her Grandparents, Elias and Rita Coles as well as her little cousin Ryan Coles. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Claire’s Hospital and the Health Science Center for taking good care of Cammy during her stays. Also a big thank you to K. M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home and everyone who has helped and continues to help and make today, and the days ahead more bearable. Cremation and funeral to follow at a later date.
