Passed away in to peace on the 7th day of September 2013 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony in her 98th Year, Mrs. Lavenia Mitchelmore of Sandy Cove. Thankful for a lifetime of love and memories are her son Byron (Emma), daughter Bernette (Robert), daughter in law Virtue, Grandchildren Sheila (Wallace), Donald (Myrtle), Rose (Paul), Maitland, Amanda (Claude), Colette (David), Winsor (Lisa), Shane (Jeannette), Shauna, Richard, and Heather. Great Grandchildren Sheldon (Marilyn), Philip (Terri), Aaron, Mitchel, Sean, Kelly, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Shayna, and Shelly, Great Great Grandchildren Sheldon (Kayla), Austin, Bryanna, Kyla, Montana, Austin. Lavenia was predeceased by her husband Norman, sons Maitland and Winsor, daughters Amanda and Rowena, parents Isaac and Leah, her sister Marie, and brothers Walter, Lawrence and Percy. Visitation was held at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lower Cove, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on September the 9th with Rev. Marlene Harvey and Lay Person Joyce White officiating. Burial followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Green Island Cove. Funeral arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M.
