BEAUDOIN, COSMO

April 28, 1937 - May 12, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our kind and wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle, Cosmo Beaudoin. Cosmo passed peacefully at the Rufus Guinchard Health Center in Port Saunders on May 12, 2024, concluding his lifetime of stories at the ripe age of 87.

Ever the storyteller, Cosmo would never miss the opportunity to spin a tale of his youth, speaking often and warmly of his many adventures in his working years. His warm smile and hearty laugh has blessed many in his time. His creativity knew no bounds, whether it was for art, music, woodworking, or the occasional invention. He was eager to invite anyone to his table for a feed of fresh “taties” from his own garden, and took pride in his ability to provide for his family. While we mourn his passing, we are reminded by memories-of the blessing of having him with us for his long, rewarding life.

Cosmo leaves behind with heavy hearts and a lifetime of warm memories, his belove Wife, Rowena; his three Children: Mervie (Jerome), Eva (Wayne), and Leslie (Jenifer), his pride and joys; his 3 grandchildren: Mitch, Amanda (Matthew), and Annabella'; his in-laws: Lillian (the late Lawrence), Vivian (the late Stedman), Bessie (the late Stewart), Angus (the late Mamie), Belinda (Steve), Lambert (Iris), Israel (Kathleen). Also left t0 mourn with heavy hearts are his nieces, nephews, and the most incredible collection of friends and acquaintances that he has accumulated through the years.

He is predeceased by his parents: Onesiphore and Margaret Beaudoin; Grandparents: Emanuel and Emily White who raised him after his parents death and a young age; Sister: Semone (Thomas); Brother: Lawrence; Parents-in-law: Lamber and Eva Coombs; In-laws: Wilfred, Ruby, Stedman, Elizabeth, Archibald, Stewart, Leslie, Mamie, Lavinia, Olga, and Melvin.

The family would like to send a big “thank-you” and much appreciation to Dr. Irfan and the nursing staff of the Rufus Guinchard Health Center, your wonderful care will never be forgotten. It was only a short time but we would also like to thank his Home care Workers Winnie Bell and Shirley Plowman.

Say not in grief “he is no more”, but in thankfulness that “he was”.
