Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Center on the 2nd day of February 2016, Mrs. Esther Compton of Roddickton was in her 89th year. She leaves to mourn with loving memories her husband Noah Compton- St. Anthony, NL, Sons Elamore Reid – Roddickton, NL and Kevin(Debbie)- Roddickton, NL; Daughter Vivian Compton – Edmonton, AB; Her Grandchildren Allison, Travis, Mason, Cadenz, and Stephen, her Great-Grandchildren Aleyna, Ashlynn, Emmett, Jacob and Jesse as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Sunday February 7, 2016 with Rev. Christopher Hewlett officiating. Interment followed into the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
