HOPKINS, RANDOLPH GRENFELL NOAH

1931 ~ 2015 Randolph Hopkins, surrounded by his family, was” Promoted to Glory” on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony, NL at the age of 84 years. He was a kind and gentle man with a big heart. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Anne of nearly 60 years; sons; Lorne (Donna),Garry (Sheila), Kirke (Kim), Harry (Mary)& Glen; Daughters; Debbie (Todd) Chaulk & Dolly (Roger)Ellsworth; Grandchidren; Bradley, Andy, April (Billy), Bonnie (Robert), Cody, Stephen (Megan), Jeremy (Joanna), Trevor, Cassidi, Tammy (Cory), Timmy (Samantha), Troy, Tony, Andre (Tara), Ryan (Jo-Ellen), Stephanie (Steven), Kathryn, Jada & Carter; Great grandchildren; Brayden, Chase, Dylan, Ava, Matthew, Faith, Isaac, Tanner, CJ, Jayden, Jaxon, Logan, Lily, Kaley, Kate & Hailie; Brothers; Percy (Rowena), Esau (Josephine), Bert (Joan) andWilfred (Regina); Sisters; Marguerite (Leslie) Canning, Olive (Allen) Compton, Emma (Harvey) Compton, Tina (Terry) Peddle, & Betty (Gordon) Rice, brother in laws Calvin (Mildred), jasper (brenda), & David Blanchard, sister in laws Patsy (Melvin) Anstey , Marjorie canning  and melvina Hopkins, many nieces, nephews and an extensive circle of friends. He is predeceased by parents Jonas and Tamer Hopkins, Father and Mother in-law Thomas and Mary Blanchard; sisters; Louise, Effie and Kate and brother Roy. Visitation will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel, Englee on Tuesday, October 6th from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 -9 p.m., Wednesday, October 7th from 2 – 4 p.m. & 7 -8:30 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place at the same location on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Lieutenants Randy and Cathy Shears officiating.  Interment will follow at new Salvation Army Cemetery. As per Randolph’s request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Directer.
