SNOW, DAVID

August 10, 1939 - April 25, 2023

Born in Hay Cove, NL to Jane Hedderson and Stephen Snow. He met Bertha Decker, the love of his life 37 years ago, and married on May 12, 2017.  

He leaves to mourn with warm and fond memoires, his children; Kaye (Cletus); Linda (Dale), Pre Deceased; Sandra (Sean); Alma (Rodney); Gloria (Clarence); Cora (Seymour); David (Lanna); and 15 Grand Children and 19 Great-Grandchildren; his Sister, Betty (Job); Brothers, Robert (Eliza), Gordon (Virginia); Brother-in-law, Eli; as well as many caring and loving nieces, nephews, and great friends.

 Dave is predeceased by his Parents, Jane and Stephen; Sisters, Rose, Mary; Brother, Walter (Lavinia); Hector (Madeline)

Private family visitation will take place on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28th from the Pentecostal Church at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Elliott officiating. Interment to follow.

LODER, GORDON STERLING

Born June 14th, 1953 at Curtis Memorial Hospital to Arthur and Olive Loder. He married Dorcas Hedderson on June 8th, 1973 and had two children, Trina and Tanya- and later, two grandchildren, Meagan and Jenna. Gord’s career in health care started in St Anthony with Grenfell Regional Health Services. In the early eighties, Gordon and his family moved to Summerside P.E.I. where he worked as Purchasing Manager with Prince County Hospital. In 2012, Gordon and Dorcas decided to move to Edmonton, AB to be closer to their kids and grandkids; where he worked as a Purchasing Agent with Alberta Health Services. After being diagnosed with cancer he decided to retire. In 2016, after battling cancer for 5 years, Gordon and Dorcas moved back to St. Anthony and then to Hay Cove. Gordon succumbed to his disease on October 28th, 2017 at 2:20 am. He leaves to mourn his Wife Dorcas; Daughters Trina (Paul) Loder, Tanya (Shawn) Arsenault; Granddaughters Meagan and Jenna; Brothers Al (Colleen), Don (Linda), Bob (Eileen); Sisters Ruby McConnell, Mitzie (Carl) Wethrell, Shirley (Carroll) Harper, Yvonne (Troy) Henson, Delphanie (Tom) Cunningham, Myrtle Larkin, Winnie (Daniel) Ellsworth, Sandra (Paul) Fraser, Linda (Garfield) Fillier, Mary Loder as well as a large circle of family and friends. Gordon is predeceased by his Parents Arthur and Olive Loder; Brother Pearce (Bud) Loder; Brothers-in-law Jerry McConnell, Thomas Larkin, Cyril Bessey; Nephew Tommy Cunningha,; Nieces Theresa and Donna Harper; and Parents-in-law Dorman and Blanche Hedderson. Visitation was held at the Bethel Pentecostal Church from where the funeral was held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Bessey officiating. Interment followed. EDDISON, JOHN THOMAS

John Thomas Eddison was born on December 16th, 1955, to Jacob and Alice Eddison, in Hay Cove, NL. He was one of seven children. On May 16th, 1980, he married Bessie Noble of Great Brehat. Together they raised three children Brian, Bradley, and Brandon. His love for darts was infectious. His door was always open to family, friends, and to strangers. ON February 12th, 2016, in his 60th year, John passed away while doing what he loved best, he was at his firewood. Mr. John Eddison of Haycove leaves to mourn with heavy hearts and loving memories his wife Bessie Eddison, Children Brian(Donna), Bradley(Jolene), and Brandon,  Grandchildren Shayden, Kieran and Tianna, Mother Alice Eddison, Inice Bartlett(Frances), Gloria Loder(Albert), Deborah Bartlett(Duncan), Ramsey Eddison(Judy), Daisy Eddison, Dora Eddison(Robert), Mother-in-Law Daphne Noble, IN-Laws Alex Noble(Janice), Ray Noble(Lillian), Violet Short(Absalom), Irene Allingham, Mable Caines(Hebbert), Elsie Saunders(Fred), Alma Noble(Shawn), Marie Patey and Sadie Short special friends Steve and Wanda Decker as well as an extended circle of nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his Father Jacob Eddison. Visitation was held at the Central United Church in Quirpon Branch from which the funeral service was held on Tuesday February 16th, 2016 at 2:00pm with Major Dinzel Baggs, Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Interment followed in the Central United Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M.
