HALL, BARRY SCOTT

Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at Laval University Hospital in Quebec City on September 11th, 2017 while on route home from vacation in Ontario at the age of 70 years. It is with a broken heart we announce the sudden passing of Barry Scott Hall. Scott lost his battle at 1:00 am in Quebec City when his huge heart grew tired and needed to rest. Scott loved life and people and made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was caring and compassionate and a very loving person, always putting the needs of others before his own. Scott loved the simple things in life like the cabin, moose hunting, fishing, watching his fireplace with a cup of tea. Nothing could make Scott happier than storing away his winter fire wood with his partner and best friend Patsy. Scott loved his family and thought of his only brother as his best friend and they enjoyed many trips to get their fall moose together. Please remember Scott for the huge personality he possessed and the joy he brought to others. Leaving to mourn with precious memories his loving partner Patsy Noel; Sons Michael (Tammy) Peter; Daughters Christine (Joe), Susan (RJ); Step-Son Justin (Janelle) as well as 4 grandsons and one grand-daughter. He also leaves his Father Jack and mother Lillian; Brother Steven (Linda); Sisters Jacqueline (Walter) Patricia (Eric) as well as many nieces and nephews, along with the extended family of his partner Patsy, and a wide circle of friends and work associates. Visitation took place September 14th and 15th from Barrett’s Funeral Home in Mount Pearl and then continued from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony on September 18th and 19th from where the memorial service was held on September 19th, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. John McGonigle officiating. Inurnment followed in the Goose Cove Protestant Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

We come with nothing, we go with nothing, but one great thing we can achieve in our beautiful life is a little remembrance in someone’s mind and a small place in someone’s heart
