Edward Bessey passed away May 4, 2024 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 95 years.
He leaves to mourn with many wonderful memories, his wife of 68 years: Martha Jane Bessey; Children: Morris (Joyce), Marilyn (Dave), Marshall (Jackie), Boyd (Sherry), Brian (Tanya), Albert Biles'; Grandchildren: Steven, Shawn. Trent, Tara, Melissa, Michelle, Maggie, Brody; Great-grandchildren: Emma, Jenna, Peter, Landon, Noah, Alex, Andy, Kaylee, Ava, as well as many other extended family and friends.
The family would like to send a thank-you to those who send condolences and supported us at this difficult time. We would also like to send a special thank-you to the staff at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, Shirley’s Haven, Major Stokes and Dart-Stokes and KM Fillatre.
Visitation details to be announced. The funeral service will take place from the Untied Church in Raleigh on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Major Stokes officiating. Interment to follow.
