Gray Center in St. Anthony, at the age of 84, Mrs Evangeline Elizabeth Best of St. Anthony, NL. left with fond and loving memories are her sons Calvert (Ruby), Robert, Tony (Belinda), and also Roy, and Ross (Thelma). she leaves 6 grand children; Gerry Best (Trina), Bobbi-Lynn Best, Terrilyn Hillier (Jason Rossington), and Ann Marie Mugford. 6 great grandchildren; Gerry Best ( Trina ) Bobbi-Lynn Best( Jamie Reardon) Michael Best ( Colleen Pike) Courtney Best Terrilyn Hiller ( Jason Rossington) Annmarie Mugford and Sara. also with fond and loving memories are Frances (Lewis) Pynn, Margaret Best, Patricia Best, Nieces, Nephews, and Relatives and friends, she lived to see the passing of her husband  Robert, Mother, Father, 11 Brothers and 2 sisters and David Elliott. visitation was held at The funeral home in st. Anthony, after which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 15th of march 2014, with Rev. Fr. Paul Findlay officiating. Burial followed the service in the old Anglican Cemetery in st. Passed away into the loving arms of god at her private residence in Ottawa Ont. at the age of 67, Mrs. Betty M. Randell of Englee Newfoundland. left behind with heavy hearts are her Loving Husband Benson Randell -- Ottawa, ON., her dear children Byron (Sherrie) Randell -- Ottawa, ON., Vivian (Lorne) -- Ottawa ON., Benita Randell -- Kitchener, ON. as well as eight grand children, two great grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends, all of whom will feel the loss of her presence deeply. Visitation was held the Apostolic Faith Church in Englee, from which the funeral service was held on the 14th of march, 2014 at 2:00pm with pastor George Burton and pastor Fred Randell officiating. burial followed the service in the Englee Apostolic Faith Cemetery. passed into eternal rest at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on March 11, 2014, Mrs. Margaret Coates of St. Anthony, at the age of 90. Left to mourn are her Son Truman (Shirley), Daughter Margaret (Celia) Greenham (Ed), Sister Blanche Burt and Grandchildren Sherry Simms (Bob), Karin Dunphy (Tom), Truman Greenham, Trudy Wagner (Jim), Judy Burden (Barry), Jackie Roberts (Dominic), and Eddie Greenham, as well as 10 great grandchildren, special niece Effie Pynn (Alpert), and brother in law Thomas Coates. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm on the 13th of March form the St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony with Rev'd Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. burial followed the funeral service in the Anglican community cemetery in Eddies Cove, Margaret original home. funeral arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M. RUMBOLT, WALTER

Passed peacefully away at the John M Gray Center on the 3rd day of March 2014. Mr. Walter Rumbolt of Main Brook was in his 89th year.  He leaves to mourn with cherished and loving memories his wife Della, Sons Hayward(Darlene), Wade(Brenda), Gerard(Kay), Daughters Marilyn(Randy), Jackie(Fred),  Grandchildren Mandy, Sheldon, Jillian, Adam, Karisa, Jordan, Madison, Jessica, Great Grandchildren Jackson and Alexis, His Siblings Lillian Little, Mary Lunnen, Bill and Gord Smith,  as well as a large circle of family and friends. Cremation took place on the 4th day of March 2014. Visitation took place at the Anglican church in Main Brook followed by the memorial service at 2:00pm on the 6th day of March 2014 with Harold Harvey officiating. Scattering will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director.

Passed peacefully away at the White Bay Health Center in Roddickton on the 27th day of February 2014. Mr. George Garland Compton of Englee was in his 88th year. He leaves to mourn with cherished and loving memories his Wife of 64 years Nellie Compton,(Englee), Son Morgan(Bobbi)Compton, Fort McMurray, AB., Daughters Mae(David)Gill, Englee, NL., Frances(Garfield)Newman, Englee, NL., Judy Denney(Partner Ted Crouser), Edmonton, AB., Sheila(Ivan) Tymchuk, Sudbury, ON., fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren as well as a large circle of family and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Eve Compton and two Brothers Albert and Luke. Visitation was held at The Apostolic Faith Church in Englee from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 3rd day of March 2014 with Pastor George Burton and Pastor Fred Randell officiating. Passed away into peace at the John M. Gray Center on January 31st of 2014, Mrs Elizabeth McLean of Eddies Cove East at the age of 96. She will always be remembered by her daughters Laura, Rosie (Phil), Mamiellen (Whyman), Sarah, Lavenia (Tom), her Sons James (May) and Stedman (Pauline) and her brother Walter (Hazel) as well as 35 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grandchildren. She lived to see the passing of her beloved husband Azariah McLean and her son Norman McLean and three son in laws Cecil Parrill, Stedman Letto and Calvin Dyson. Visitation was held at the St. Andrews Anglican Church in Lower cove, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on February 3, 2014 with Rev. Marlene Harvey and Lay Person Maxine Hughes Officiating. Burial followed in the Anglican cemetery in Eddies Cove. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Passed away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial  Hospital in St. Anthony on January 31st, Mr. Harold Adams of St. Luanire-Griquet in his 77th year. Left to Mourn his passing are his wife Evelyn, his sons Oral, Calvin, (Lisa), Waddell (Gaye), and Burt (Robyn), his daughters Patricia (Stafford), Mary (Randy), and Joan (Glenn). As well as his brother  George and sisters Shirley and Goldie, Also 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends.  Harold lived to see the passing of his parents Kenneth and Edith Adams, his brothers Melvin, William, Wilson and his sister Nellie. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle in St. Lunaire-Griquet, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on February 3rd, 2014 with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Passed peacefully away at his home in Roddickton on the 31st day of January 2014. Mr. Donald Decker was in his 63rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of nearly forty years Violet, Sons Brian and Conrad and his Daughter Beverly(Darryl), two Grandchildren Bethani and Jake, six Sisters and one Brother, his Mother-in-Law, five Sisters-in-Law, and three Brothers-in-law, special cousin and friend Melvin Decker, two special friends Ben and Edgar as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and one Brother. Cremation had taken place with visitation at the United Church in Roddickton from which the memorial service was held at 11:00am on 5th day of February 2014 with Reverend John McGonigle officiating. Truman lived to see the passing of his parents Leander and Minnie Mitchelmore, his brother Howard Mitchelmore(Mae), Brother in law David Gibbons, Parent in laws Ernst and Amelia Elliott, their lives he has touched. Visitation was held at The funeral home on West Street, the funeral followed on the 27th of January 2014 from the St. Mary’s Anglican church in St. Anthony at 2:00pm with Rev. Paul C.
