Passed peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 22nd January 2014. Mr. William Henry Samson of Mary’s Harbour was in his 84th year. He leaves to mourn his wife Emma, Children Clara(Jordon), Freeman(Bella), Loretta(Junior, Grandchildren Jeanette(Boyd), Rosetta(Craig), Lyle(Darlene), Brendon(Shandy), Conrad(Amanda), Chad(Christina), Cindy(Hayward), Claudia(Clinton), Randal(Alysha), Great Grandchildren Charley, Chelsey(Andrew), Bobby, Brittany, Braden, Sydney, Adam, Wesley, Carley, Jackson, Jack, Mitchell, and Reanne, Step-Brother Francis Smith, as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Hannah, father John, Brothers James and Charles Sisters Clara and Mary Hannah. Visitation was held at the St. Mary’s the Virgin Church in Mary’s Harbour followed by the funeral service which was held at 2:00pm on the 25th day of January 2014 with Rev’d Gail Coley MacDonald officiating. Internment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.

OLLERHEAD, DANIEL

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Daniel Ollerhead. He passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on the 20th day of January 2014 at the Health Science Center in St. John’s. Mr. Daniel Ollerhead of St. Anthony was in his 81st year. He leaves to mourn with cherished memories his loving wife Margaret of fifty-eight years, four beautiful Children Gus(Kyla), Grace(Bill), Beverly(John), and Danny(Deanne), five Grandchildren Rachel(Steven), Michael, Peter, William, and Alex, three Great Grandchildren  Morganne, Nathan, and Breanna, as well as extended family and many close friends.  He predeceased by his Mother Rachel and Father Augustus. Visitation was held at the funeral home in St. Anthony from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm from the St. Mary’s Anglican Church on  January 24, 2014 with Rev’d Fr. Paul C. Findlay officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director

Passed away into peace on the 29th of December  at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Mrs. Harriet Fennemore in her 66th year. Harriet leaves behind her daughters Alvina (Wade), Marian (Clay), Vanessa (Justin), Denise (Chris), Noreen (Sean), Step son Baxter (Gloria), Step daughter Janice (Tom), Fifteen grand children and six great grandchildren, sisters Sharon and Catherine and Brothers John and Wilson, her good friend Gloria Patey as well as many other relatives and friends. Visitation took place at the Funeral home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service, which was held from the Saint Anthony United church in St. Anthony  on the 1st of January, 2014 with Rev. John McGonigle, Dm officiating. Burial followed the service in the United Cemetery at Fishing point. Funeral arrangements where entrusted to Kerry M. PATEY, GEORGE ALFRED

Passed away into peace on the 25th of December 2014, at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, Mr. George Alfred Patey of Main Brook, at the age of 79 years. Left  to mourn are his dear  wife of 51 years Juanita,  his children Iris, Kathryn (Dennis), Jean (Steve), and Brian (Lisa) as well as his grandchildren Aaron, Marc (Robin), Samantha, Davin, Tylee (Christopher), Zane, Leah (Casey), Aaron, Riley and Great grandchildren Landon, Zander, Richard and Owen. George was predeceased by his son Lindsay, Father James Hedderson and Step mother Emma, Mother Rose Mackie, Step Father James Mackie, Sister Elizabeth and Brother Leonard. We will be sadly missed by all.  Visitation was held at the United Church in Main Brook, from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 29th of December with Rev.
