Passed away June 28, 2020 at the Health Science Center in St. Johns at the age of 63 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his Wife, Jonie; Son, Cody Gibbons (Nadine Parrill); Siblings, Roland (Peggy), Kirby (Edith), Susan (Derek), Donna (Wilf), Kathy (Boris); Sister-in-law, Jenita (Edward Taylor); Brothers-in-law, Sam Taylor, Jake (Mary) Taylor; Nieces and Nephews, Casey (Allie), Corey (Glenda), Christopher (Sheena), Kaitlyn, Drew, Renita, Courtney (Clay), Terri (Brad); Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews, Marty, Natalie, Daxton, Alyssa, Brayden, Chase, Cade, Coy, Thea, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Ivan was predeceased by his Daughter, Renita Shermain; Nephew, Kirby Gibbons; Sister, Daisy Gibbons; Parents, Roland and Sybil Gibbons; and parents-in-law, Harold and Jessie Taylor. A private viewing was held from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony on Thursday July 30, 2020 with cremation to follow. Further funeral and burial details to be announced at a later date.
