Passed away suddenly at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on the 12th of October, 2013 at the age of 63 Mrs. Joyce Olive Fillier, of Englee NL. Joyce leaves behind her husband Garfield Fillier, her sons Jeffery (Denna) Fillier of Englee, Craig (Cindy) Fillier of Vancouver B. C., Shawn (Darlene) Fillier of Englee, Jason (Colleen) Fillier of Cap ele NB, Damian (Robin) Fillier of Fort Macmurry, Daughters Debbie (Kevin) of Goose Bay and Paulette (Mohammed) of Alexandria Egypt, Brother Hiram (Leona) Randell of Goose Bay, Sisters Jessie Burden of Gander, Ethel (Roy) Pilgrim of Goose Bay, Mildred Campbell of Goose Bay, Alma (David) Hynes of Twillingate, and Margaret (Hubert) Burden of Goose Bay. As well as grandchildren Justin, Jenna, Jeanessa, Kerry, Robbie, Jamie, Chantal, Kendra and Cynthia, Great Grandchildren Robert, Sean, Brooklyn and Douglas and a large circle of family and friends. The visitation was held at the Salvation Army Church in Englee, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on Wednesday October 16, 2013 with Major Baggs Officiating. Burial followed in the Salvation Army Cemetery in Englee. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.

Passed away peacefully at the Charles S. Curits Memorial Hospital on the 111th of October 2013. Mrs. Hilda Reardon of Goose Cove was in her 88th year.  She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Edward(Theresa), Daniel(Jose), Elmore, Ralph(Philomena, Eileen(Allister), Sheila(Bob), Carl(Wanda), Brendon, a large circle of Grandchildren and Great- Grandchildren, Daughters in Law Rosalind Pilgrim and  Alice Reardon, Special Friends Garrett and Betty Anne Reardon as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ambrose and her two sons Sylvester and Gordon. Visitation was held at the funeral home followed by the funeral mass was held on the 14th day of October at 11:00am form the Immaculate Conception Church in Goose Cove with Father Anthony Nwaohiri officiating. He was predeceased by his Wife Bessie Compton, Father Lemuel and Mother Ida. Visitation was held at the Salvation Army church in Englee from which the fuernal service was held at 3:00pm on the 13th day of October2013 with Major Baggs officiating. Mrs. Hilda BIles of St. Anthony was in her 87th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons Bernie Biles (Beryl), Garry Biles (Wavey)in Vancouver; Dannie Biles (Alice) in Barrie; and Daughter Wanda Reardon in Brampton, seven grandchildren she was so proud of Shawn(Vicky), Tammie Frelich-Biles, Vanessa, Karen Keats(Dave), Ashley, Latisha, Cheryl, Khristopher Reardon, Adam Hepburn, ten great grandchildren, sisters Muriel Patey, Rosalind Pilgrim, Pansy Payne (Brett), Brothers Boyce(Lorna), Don (Sherrie), Carl(Margaret), as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wesley, Father Henry Cull, Mother Hurslett. Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home in St. Anthony on Sept 21 – Sept 22, 2013 followed by the funeral service which took place at 2:00pm on the 23rd of September 2013 at the United Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Interment followed at the fishing point united cemetery. She will be missed in the community of St. Anthony for her community services throughout the years. She was predeceased by her husband Benjamin, granddaughters Roxanne, Rosalie, Bonnie, and Julia, grandson Clayton, Sisters Helen, Vera, and Rebecca, her parents George and Dinah (Allingham) Saunders, and half brother Havner. Visitation was held at the United Church in Main Brook form which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 12th day of September 2013 with Rev. John McGonigle officiating.
