Passed peacefully away at Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, NL on March 16, 2021 at the age of 86. He leaves to mourn his Wife of 65 years, Dora (Croucher) ; Brother,, Norman (Myra), Job (Elizabeth); Sister, Mary Jane; Sister-in-law, Vera and Ethel; as well as Nieces, Nephews and Friends. He was predeceased by Son, Gregory Strangemore; Mother, Dorcas; Father, Essau; Sisters, Blanche (George), Luncinda (Bob); Brothers, Ralph, Jerimiah; and Brother-in-law, Bill Burt. Private viewing to take place from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony with burial to follow in the Main Brook Anglican Cemetery with Rev. Gosse officiating.
