TAYLOR, MAMIE VICTORIA

March 1, 1930 - June 5, 2020 Born and raised in Raleigh, NL Mamie passed peacefully away at the age of 90 in her home, with her loving family by her side. Straight out of high school, Mamie taught school at St. Anthony Bight. She married Garland November 9th, 1949. She also spent 32 years as the post mistress in Raleigh. Mamie loved life and was very Social lady who enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family. She was particularly fond of travelling, as well as time Spent at the cabin snowmobiling, smelting and Cookouts. As well, she was an active member of the UCW, and a great support to the Church. She was avid gardener and had a great passion for flowers. She will be forever missed and admired by all who knew and loved her. She had zest for life and was a light to all she met. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children, Lloyd (Shelley), Ronald (Judy), Donna Smith (Welgia), Joanne Bailey (Trevor) and Kimberly Taylor (John); grandchildren, Steven (Amanda), Rocky (Skye), Marteen (Tyler), Sheena (Leighton), Stephanie (Robert), Jessica (Alex), Damian (Amie) and Cindy (Mark); great grandchildren, Sienna, Mason, Xavier, Alexander, Anna, Brooklynn, Aleigh, Reagan, Madison, Mason and Everly; sisters, Vera Budgell, Vie Rowsell and Brothers, Ed Johnson (Kay) and Hector Bussey (Ann);. Sisters-in-law, Marjorie Taylor, Mary Taylor and Shirley Smith. As Well as large circle of relatives and friends, including daughter-in-law, Kay Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Garland; her parents, Walter and Melissa Taylor; her brothers, Cecil Taylor (Nellie), Doug Smith and Roy Bussey (Mae).
