Passed away July 24th, 2018 at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn her Husband, George Pittman, and Sisters Eliza Genge, Dulcie Humber (and families) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her parents George and Kitty Chambers, her brother Stedman Chambers, and her sister Jane. Visitation was held from the Anglican Church of the Advent in Plum Point from where her funeral was held on July 28th 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jennifer Renouf officiating and Rev. Claire Stewart Preaching. Interment followed in the Pond Cove Anglican Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home, St. Anthony, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
