Passed away on February 22nd, 2018 from the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 82 years. Willie was born in Ship Cove on August 10, 1935, to Fred and Pearl Roberts. He loved where he was to, and he lived a life here, marrying Effie and raising five children. Will loved to spend time fishing and cutting wood. But he loved even more passing time with family and friends. His pictures will make your hearts glad, and his memories will always brighten your days. He leaves to Mourn with fond and loving memories, his Wife, Effie; Children, Darren (Kim), Jeff (Jessica), Jamie (Samantha), Tammy (Duane), Chad (Ange); Grandchildren, Ellie, Julian, Nicholas, Mya, Jessica, Abbie, Nicholas, Jayden, Danielle and Keagan; Sisters, Ella, Nellie (Les), Rita (Ford), Debbie (Ray); and Brother, Melvin (Irene). William E. Roberts was predeceased by his Parents, Fred & Pearl Roberts; Sister Ruby; and Brother Melvin. Visitation was held from Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony until the funeral on February 26th, 2018 at 11:00 am from the United Church in Ship Cove with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. Interment followed.
