Passed away into Peace on the 5th day of October 2014 at Shirley's Haven personal care home in St. Anthony in his 90th year, Mr. Garland Elliott of Cooks Harbour. Garland leaves behind his brothers Ramond, Leonard (Elsie), and Hayward (Lillian), his sister Lottie as well as nephews, nieces, and a large circle of family and friends. garland was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Effie Elliott, brothers James, John, and Walter. Visitation was held at The Anglican Church in Cook's Harbour, from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 8th of October with Rev. Mark Wilkoff Officiating.
