PARRILL, EFFIE

Passed peacefully away at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Dec. 10, 2014.  Effie Parrill was in her 67th year.  She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of memories her children Holly (Jim), Chris (Della) and Marjorie (Peter); Grandchildren Thomas, Emily, Ramsey and Brooklyn; Sister Laverne(Arthur) Genge; Brothers-in-law; Sisters-in-law; Nieces; Nephews; as well as a large circle of family and friends.  She was predeceased by her parents William and Marjorie Chambers; Parent-in-law Gilbert and Miriam Parrill.  Visitation took place at St. Boniface Anglican Church in Bear Cove from where the funeral took place on Dec 13, 2014 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon with Rev Irving Letto officiating.  Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Pines Cove.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to KM Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.  

HYNES, KEVIN

Kevin was born on April 13th, 1964 to Hazel and Edward Hynes in St. Anthony NL. during his short life, Kevin had much sickness, He loved to salmon fish and take road trips with his buddies, he enjoyed the simple things. Kevin Passed away in to peace on the 9th of December, 2014 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 50 years. left to mourn his passing are his brothers and sisters Peggy (Ronald), Joan (Boyd), Terry (Delores), Donna (Greg), Eddie (Erdie), Lee, Wayne (Bonnie), nephews philip, Michael, Derick, Chris, Stephanie, Robin, aunt Martha and Uncle Don, Adam, Hazel, Paul, Sabrina, Smantha, Annalee, Emily, Tiara, Michaela, Riley, Charlotte, Thomas, Thea, Thorden, Charles, Anjelika, Abigail, Dominick And Avery, a large circle of friends especially his buddies Glen Pilgrim and Frank Simms and "Buddy " His cat.  In his short life he seen the passing of his parents Hazel and Edward, his grand parents Mary and James Patey, Charles and Janet Hynes and his niece Cheryl-Dee. Visitation was held at the Funeral home in St. Anthony, after which the funeral service took place at The St. Mary's Anglican Church in St. Anthony with Rev'd Fr. Paul C. Findlay Officiating. Cremation followed the Service with burial to be announced at a later date. Funeral services Were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard Funeral Director. 

CUNARD, PHYLLIS

Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 7th day of December 2014. Mrs. Phyllis Cunard of Brig Bay was in her 58th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Eli, Son Jason(Tina), Daughter Jessica, Grandchild Austyn, her parents Stanley and Amy Coates, Brothers Kevin(Dorothy), Dennis(Lilly), Jun(Emma), sisters Bernette and Valerie(Leon),  Brothers-in-law, Sisters-in-law, Nieces, Nephews, as well as a large circle of  family and friends. She was predeceased by her Parents-n-Law, Brothers-in-Law and Sisters-in-Law. Visitation was held at the St. Andrew’s Anglican church in Lower Cove from which the funeral service was held on Thursday December 11th, 2014 at 11:00am with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment followed in the Anglican Cemetery in Eddies Cove East.

COLBOURNE, IDA HAZEL

Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial hospital on the 3rd day of December 2014. Mrs. Ida Hazel Colbourne of Roddickton was in her 78th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving  husband  Wesley,  Sons Garry (Violet), Alvin, Lorne (Lucinda), Austin, Terry (Belinda), Keith (Lisa), Daughters Ivy (Guy), Rita(Stephen), Wavey, Twenty-Three Grandchildren, Thirteen  Great Grandchildren, Brothers Pleamon(Leah), Wilfred(Iona), Barry(Viviann as well as a large circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Cinderella Pollard, Son Wesley, Sisters Annie Hopkins and Dena Pollard, Brothers Hubert Pollard, Jim Pollard and Stafford Pollard. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal Temple in Roddickton from which the funeral service was held on Sunday December 7th 2014 at 2:00pm with Pastor Benjamin Brown officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatres Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard funeral director.

MOORES, CLIFTON ROLAND

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifton Roland Moores announce his sudden passing at his home in anchor point on December 1st, 2014 at the age of 63 years, left to mourn are his wife Millicent of 42 years, children Trixie (Leroy), Trina(Dave), Tyson (Sabrina), Grandchildren Nakita, Megan, Keegan, Kaylan, Aleisha and Ava, Great grandchild Jaxson, Step mom Margaret Moores, his siblings Abe (Vert), Hiram (Helena), Edmund (Doreen), David (Amanda), Marlese, in laws Abe(Jane), Steward(Dorcas), Doug(Bertha), Beulah (Jake), Brone (Bill), Marvin (Louise), Troy (Connie), Una, Fiona, a large Circle of Neices and nephews, aunts and uncles, family and friends. Clifton was predeceased by his parents Eli and Larola Moores, his in laws Emanuel Sr. and Dora Genge, brother Leonard, Brothers in laws Montrose and Emanuel Genge JR. nephews EJ Moores and Leonard Jr.   The Visitation was held at the Anglican Church in Anchor Point, From which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on the 5th of December with Rev. Irving Letto and Rev. John McGongile  officiating. Burial Followed the Service at the Anchor Point Anglican Cemetery. Funeral Arangments were entrusted to Kerry M. COOMBS, OLGA BERNICE

Passes away in to peace on the 30th of November at The Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony, Olga Bernice Coombs of Shoal Cove West in her 61st year. Olga leaves with loving memories her Husband Melvin Baines, her son Lars Coombs (Thelma), her sisters Vivan (Sted), Elizabeth (Arch), Lavinia, Rowena (Cosmo), Bessie (Stew), Belinda (Steve), brothers Lambert (Iris), Israel (Kathleen), sisters in law Olga (Albert), Joyce (Jim), Iris (Lambert), Shirley, Katherine (Harvey), Augustine, Ruby, Dorcas, Brothers in law Wilf (Thereasa), Hayward (Jessie), George (Eliz), Angus as well as a large circle of Extended family and friends. Despite her young age Olga lived to see the passing of her father lambert, her mother eva, her brothers Wilfred and Leslie, her sister Mamie, her mother in law Alma, father in law George, brothers in law Noah, Curling, Nat, Leander, Harold, Leslie, sisters in law Virginia Lucy and Thereasa. Visitation was held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church in Reefs Harbour, from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Thursday December 4th 2014 with Rev. Harold Harvey and Lay Person Bernice Baines officiating. Cremation Followed the service. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. WILCOX, HARVEY JOHN

Passed away in to peace on the 21st of November 2014 at the White Bay Health center, Mr. Harvey John Wilcox of Roddickton, in his 89th year. left to mourn his passing are his Wife Viola, his sons Raymond Wilcox of Roddickton, Winston (Judy) Wilcox of Roddickton, and Leander Wilcox of Roddickton, his daughters Priscilla (Michael) McGee of Florida USA, Ruby (Darby) Parson, Roddickton, Belinda (Kirby) Newman of Englee, Angela (Hank) Dean of Roddickton, as well as 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation was held at the Apostolic Faith Church in Roddickton, from which the funeral service was held on the 25th of November at 2:00pm with Rev. Christopher R. Hewlett officiating, burial followed after the service in the Roddickton Apostolic Faith Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. BUTT, BENJAMIN

Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony on the 16th of November 2014, Mr. Benjamin Butt of Mary's Harbour in his 84th Year. Benjamin leaves behind is loving wife of 47 years, Joyce, his children Glenys (Scott) Rumbolt, Kelly (Albert) Penney, Gail (Hughie) Holley and Trevor (Michelle). grandchildren Jenna, Julia, Haley, Connor, Emily, and Sarah, his sisters Emma Samson, Martha (Gordon) Pye, Laura Dalton as well as a large circle of family and friends. In his life Benjamin loss his mom and dad Susanna and Bartholomew, his brothers Edward, Frederick, Barton and Alex, and his nephew Garfield. Visitation took place at the St. Mary's Anglican Church in Mary's Harbour, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on the 20th day of November, 2014 with rev. Keith Sheppard Officiating. APPLIN, RITA

Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Center in St. Anthony, Mrs. Rita Applin of Pigeon Cove in her 84th year. Left to mourn her passing are her Loving husband of 64 years Edgar, her children Leona (Cliff), Fanny Ann (Harold), Ches (Pearl), Gideon (Mary), Everett (Elaine), and Myrtle (Roland). She is also survived by her 10 grand children Ann (Ken), Jamie (Shelly), Vanessa (Chuck), Boyd (Heidi), Ricky (Jennifer), Johnny (Waynette), Mandy (Wade), Shane (Gina), Keirsten (Brandon) and Elgin. also 9 Great Grand children Michael, Alyson, Nikala, Alexis. Anna, Joshua, Taylor, Aria and Kayleigh as well as her 3 brothers. Rita Lived to see the passing of her Children Edgar Jr., Dale and Myles, her parents and one brother and one sister. Visitation took place at the United Church in Pigeon Cove, from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Thursday November 20th, 2014 with Rev. John McGonigle Officiating, Burial Followed The Service in the United Cemetery in Black Duck Cove. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. BUSSEY, BETTY VIOLET

Passed away peacefully with her family around her at the John M. Gray Center on the 15th of November, Ms. Betty Violet Bussey of St. Lunaire (Garden Cove), in her 76th year. Left to mourn Betty's passing are her daughter Tanya (Cyril), grandchildren Nicolas and Holly, sister Mabel Mayo, Brothers Charlie, Dave and Fred. In her life, Betty seen the passing of her parents Thomas and Deborah Bussey, sisters Nina Patey, Ada Pynn, June Mullett and Effie Adey, her brother Don Bussey. The visitation was held at the Central United Church at Quirpon Branch,  from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on Wednesday November 19th with Rev. Gus Pendelton Officiating. burial followed the service in the Old United Cemetery in St. Lunaire-Griquet. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M.
