Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial hospital on the 13th day of November 2014. Mrs. Georgina Genge of Bear Cove was in her 81st year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Nancy Coles, Daniel(Iris), Millie(Baxter) White, Kevin(Debbie), Wavey(Rex) Whalen, Joan(Randy) White, Pam(Maurice) Way, Fifteen Grandchildren, Nine great Grandchildren, Her Siblings Bridget Gould, Alma(Garfield) Mitchelmore, Clyde(Ethel) Gould, Marie(George) Mitchelmore, Mary(Curtis) Dredge, Jane(Abe) Genge, Austin(Ivy) Gould, Her Aunts and Uncles Mary Ann Dredge, Christiana Chambers, Les(Hilda) Chambers, Jessie Gould,  and Henry(Barb) Chambers as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased in her Immediate family her husband Daniel, Daughter Gaye, Son Joshua, Sisters Ivy and Gloria. Visitation was held at the St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Anchor Point from which the funeral service took place at 3:00pm on the 16th day of November 2014 with Rev. Irving Letto officiating. Interment followed in the old Anglican Cemetery in Anchor Point. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger Funeral Director.

REID, BARTHOLOMEW

Passed peacefully at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 5th day of November 2014. Mr. Bartholomew Reid of Englee was in his 81st year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of Fifty-nine years Velma, Daughters Patricia Reid(Dorman), Rowena Reid(Nigel), and Dora Reid, Sons Guy9Rowena), Eric(Sharron), Raymond (Loretta), Alyvone(Mary), Willis, and Don(Wanda),  Grandchildren Fabian, Kyle, Janeen, Lorna, Sandi, Sarah, RaymondJr., Kayla(deceased), Brendon, Wallace, Jonathan, Travis, and Samantha, Great grandchildren Gracie, Gage, Kynlee, Jada, Kylee, Alexis, Special Niece Peggy Fillier, Sisters Irene Canning, Annie Fillier, and Rosie Fillier, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation was held at the Pentecostal church in Englee from which the funeral service was held on November 9th, 2014 at 2:00pm with Pastor Sansome officiating. HILLIER, ROLAND

Passed away at The Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony NL, Mr. Roland Hillier of St. Anthony in his 76th year. Roland leaves to mourn; his wife Annie, Children Morey, Gloria (Clement), Winnie, Vivian (Victor), Fred (Reeta), Tony (Margaret), and Robbie (Karen), 9 Brothers and Sisters and a large circle of grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his special Furry friend Cheeko. Roland was predeceased by his father Hedley Hillier, Mother Pearl Hillier and Brother Kaye Hillier. Visitation was held at the Bethel Pentecostal Church in St. Anthony beginning Monday November 3rd and continuing through to the funeral service, which took place at 2:00pm on Thursday November 6th 2014 with Pastor Jeff Bessey Officiating. Burial Followed the Service at the Pentecostal Cemetery in St. Lunaire-Griquet. Funeral arrangement where entrusted to Kerry M. SAMSON, DONALD HIRAM

Passed Away into peace in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, Mr. Donald Hiram Samson Jr. of Brig Bay on the 1st of November 2014, in his 60th year. Left Mourning with heavy hearts are his dear wife Myrtle and Son Mitchel (Gina), brother Maitland, Sisters Sheila (Wallace), Rose (Paul), Amanda (Claude) and Colette (Dave), Parents in Law Stedman and Alma Genge, Brothers in law Claude (Daphney), Henry (Marion), Harvey, Lavina), Roy (Priscilla), Stedman (Karen) sister in law Nancy (Pat), Neices and Nephews Sheldon (Marilyn), Philip (Terri), Kelly (Scott), Sean (Sasha), Nicolas, Aaron, Russ, Jillian, Dwayne (Tina), Claude JR. (Alva), Tyrone (Joanne), Maurice (Melissa), Tobi (Bud), Jordan (Jessica), Candice, Natasha, Tyler and Christopher (Effie). Great Nieces Bryanna, Victoria and Mackenzie, Great Nephews Austin, Nichalos, Brode, Jarred, Sheldon (Kayla). Despite his young age, Donald lived to see the passing of his parents Rowena and Donald Sr. and his sister in law Marilyn.  Visitation was held at the Church of the Advent in Plum Point, from which the funeral service took place at 2:00pm on Tuesday November 4th with Rev. Passed peacefully away at the John M. Gray Centre on the 25th day of October 2014. Mrs. Lucy Fillier of Englee was in her 86th year. She leaves to mourn with cherished and loving memories Husband Reginald, Sons Davis(Mary); Jim(Monica); Garry(Karen); Daughters Shirley(Bill) Humby; Hilda(Shane) Pilgrim; Evelyn(Della Demoss); Thirteen Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren, one brother Daniel Randell, Three Sisters Hettie Henpshall, Chatfield Randell, Nellie Humby as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Mark and Lucretia Randell, Three brothers Charlie, Maxwell, and Jesse, Two Sisters Celia Randell and Marjorie Randell. Visitation was held at The Salvation Army Church on the 26th day of October followed through until the funeral service which took place at 2:00pm on the 28th day of October 2014 with Lts. Randy and Cathy Shears officiating. Interment followed at the New Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 22nd day of October 2014. Mr. Wesley Eddison of noddy bay was in his 73rd year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Winnifred, Sons Dwayne(Shirley), Sheldon(Tracey), Barry (Kelly), Daughters Jackie and Tanya (David) Baker, Grandchildren Marcel, Amanda, Dayna, Hayward, Stefan, April, Aaron, Alexander, Erin, and Ethan, Great Grandchildren Victoria, Shayden, Jaxon, and Layla, Brother Francis(Selma) as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Victoria, Brothers Nimrod and Ambrose, Sisters Mary Ann Blake, Sarah Jane Bishop, Bertha, Johanna Hillier and Blanche Hedderson. Visitation was held at the Central United Church on the 24th day of October 2014 from which the service was held at 2:00pm on the 25th day of October 2014 with Rev. Gus Pendleton officiating. WILCOX, MARY EMMA

Passed peacefully away at the Rufus Guinchard Health Canter on the 11th day of October 2014. Ms. Mary Emma Wilcox of Roddickton was in her 57th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Daughter Patti Canning, Son-in-Law Barry Canning, Family Members Augustus, Matilda, Melissa, Valance and families, Tyson(Caryn and Brett)-Goose Bay, NL; Jason(Candace, James, Arrick, Kiyerria) – Devon, AB; as well as a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her Mother Ethel Hancock, Her Father Shem Hancock and her twin sister Minnie Hancock. Visitation was held at the Calvary Pentecostal Temple in Roddickton on October 14th, 2014 from which the funeral service was held at 2:00pm on 15th day of October 2014 with Pastor Benjamin Brown officiating. REEVES, WINNIE

Winnie was born in Wildcove on May 07th, 1922 to  Minnie and Elias Pittman. She married Frederick Reeves in November 1940and lived in Englee up until she moved to Roddickton House in 2003. Winnie and Frederick raised fours Sons and four Daughters.Mrs.Winnie Reeves passed peacefully away at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital on the 4th day of October 2014.Mrs. Winnie Reeves of Englee was in her 92nd year.   She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her Daughters Gertie Seaward(Garfield), Wavey Pilgrim(Mervin), Cindy Newman(Barry), Sons Stanley(Carol), Lorne(Vera), Daughter-in-law Eileen Reeves(Everett), Thirteen Grandchildren, Twenty-Two Great Grandchildren, Twelve Great Great Grandchildren, Three Sisters Patsy(Hervine),Alfred, Mercedes, One Brother Reuben(Mae), as well as a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her Husband Frederick, Sons Everett, Oliver Daughter Wavey, and Brother Lorenzo. Visitation was held at The Pentecostal Tabernacle in Englee followed by funeral service which took place at 2:00pm on the 4th day of October 2014 with Pastor Sansome officiating. Passed away peacefully at the John M. Gray Center on the 4th of October, 2014, Mrs. Evangeline Woodward of Boat Harbour, in her 64th year. Evangeline leaves behind with loving memories her Daughter Roxanne (George), granddaughter Hanna, Brothers and sisters Harrison (Late Winnie), George (Stella), Bessie (Enos), Ethel (Larry), Gladys (Tony), Elenor (Late Clarence) and Jean (Gordon). Evangeline was predeceased by her father Eldred, her Mother Muriel and her brother Nelson. Visitation took place at the Anglican Church in Boat Harbour, From Which the Funeral Service Took Place at 2:00pm on the 7th of October with Rev. Mark Wilkoff Officiating.
