On September 16, 1995 she married Barry Randell of Bide Arm and there they made their home. Here they raised their two sons. In spite of numerous health difficulties, Jennifer developed her special talents. She was very artistic, enjoying a variety of different craft works, her specialty being mat hooking. She embroidered quilts and with the help of her mother-in-law and aunt finished a number of projects that she had set as goals after she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018.
